basq Skin Care Co-Owner, Lauren Parisier recently attended the Operation Shower Event — a maternity shower for military moms — held at the Ridgewood Country Club clubhouse in Paramus, N.J. CBS This Morning’s, Norah O’Donnell, served as host to help bring happiness to 40 military moms and moms to be at a gorgeous themed “Cute as a Button” baby shower.
Sponsored by Barclays and headed up by the non-profit organization, Operation Shower, the event “showered” these women with raffle prizes, Operation Shower’s acclaimed “Shower in the Box” which included basq NYC Skin Care Products for pregnancy and New Motherhood, lunch and a beautifully decorated cake by Hoboken based Carlo’s Bakery, made famous by the TV show “Cake Boss.”
Seeing these women light up with joy and happiness brought such a smile to my face. Meeting with Operation Shower Founder, LeAnn Morrissey and hearing these women’s stories of their ups and downs reiterated the fact these moms deserve to be celebrated, loved and supported. We were so happy that basq could be part of their special day.
