How to Overcome Dark Patches on Your Skin During Pregnancy

It is not recommended to use any skin lightening products during pregnancy, so leave those on the shelf. Instead, start by applying plenty of sunblock and wearing a cover-up. Patchy skin is very sensitive to sunburn, which will only accentuate the discoloring. Additionally, find yourself a good exfoliating cleanser. Exfoliation gently smooths dead skin cells, which evens out skin tone.
